Shreevallabh Vividhlakshi Vidyalaya

The Vidyalaya is a secular institution established mainly to meet the growing educational needs of Sion area in Mumbai. It was started only as secondary school in 1958, but later on in 1966 considering the demand of the residents of the vicinity primary and the pre-primary sections were opened. This has made the school a complete unit now much to our desire and to the satisfaction of many parents who prefer to send their children to a single school right from K.G. upto S.S.C. class. Presently the school conducts classes from std.V to std.X.

This school is fifty four years old. Its record of progress is our proud privilege. It has always been our endeavor to achieve and maintain a high standard of education, with due emphasis on its moral and cultural aspects. A school’s reputation and proficiency are generally gauged by its secondary examination results. Our S.S.C. results are among the best in the city. From 1962 onwards the S.S.C. Board Results have remained constant between 90 % to 100%. Some of our bright students have been selected for National Scholarship by the Central Government on the strength of their excellent performance. It is our proud privilege to mention here that the school has reached the height of its progress and development due to selfless dedicated efforts of Shri Manubhai Kanakia who remained as Principal of the School for more than 15 years.

The school timing of Vividhlakshi Vidyalya is from 1.00 p.m to 6.00 pm every day except Sunday & Bank holidays.
